As founder of CLD Architects, Leon drives the strategic direction and growth of the firm. With an out of the box approach to simplifying tasks and streamlining processes, Leon ensures that daily operations are done efficiently.  As the head designer he applies his passion for simplistic & practical design solutions to all of CLD architects design visions.

Leon has a strong experience base, which includes high rise commercial & massive master planning developments, luxury boutique hotels and high end residential homes. His main focus remains on residential architecture where his eye for detail and passion for people can truly be appreciated.

After graduating from the University of Pretoria in 2014, Allan relocated to Cape Town, where he collaborated with various architecture firms, including CLD.  In 2019, Allan joined CLD Architects as a director, and since has worked on various projects around the Western Cape. Allan has experience in a wide range of project types, but his specialities include the design and visualisation of residential buildings and housing projects.

Allan has a keen appreciation for the importance professionals play in preserving the environment and strives to align his design with sustainable principles ensuring that projects achieve the highest standards, while being environmentally conscious.

With more than two decades of experience, Emile is the back bone of the technical department. His experience base ranges from commercial & industrial projects through to retirements homes, with a focus on residential architecture. Emile has been a part of the CLD family since 2017 where his vast knowledge of statutory requirements makes him an invaluable member of the team. His experience in design guidelines and design review boards assists the team by ensuring that the sometimes-challenging process is addressed quickly and efficiently.

As a naturally curious person and a keen student, Emile has also been growing the in-house visualisation team who has been producing stunning 3D renders.
